I have only read 2 chapter so far and as Athena has reviewed it and said "really good!", I must agree... so far so good. I have found many memorable quotes in only 2 chapters. I will only share one though, my favorite:

So I dragged my Roomie to this show. (She came willingly, thought I'd have to drag her though). It was at ringtones. You'll be sitting there in a meeting and the boss is droning on about cost reports and then all of a sudden the them to Super Mario Bros is echoing though the room. Oh course you apologize 'Sorry, its me, let me get that', but of course that's the time you can't find it. Last time that happened there was a younger coworker sitting next to me and she laughed it up. 'Good one!' she says. Not five minutes later, just as the boss is handing out out some pie charts you hear 'THE SHIT IS BANANAS B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!!' and its her phone ringing this time."



LOL sorry if that was boring to you b'c I most likely didn't capture it the way it was performed to me, however I though it was hilarious, only because it applies to me and my Law and Order and Simpsons ringtones.
Also because the beootch intern that sings out loud at the office always leaves her ringer on and blasting. Then answers the phone "Whats up!", at work! Come on thats so tacky, cliche, whatever! She's a well established BGA!

Fiona is Back!!!

Luckily for all Fiona Apple fans, we have finally gotten word that her third album will be released on Oct. 4th. YAY! This release will be the second version of the album. The first one was apparently leaked to the public. Fiona has strong feelings towards this album and the way she wanted it to sound and stood her ground. This is why the album was changed, not because of the leak.

Finished.....Citizen Girl

Ok, I have to say it didn't turn out like I thought it would, but that was a good thing. I did enjoy this book, but it was weird. I will describe why, but if you plan on reading this book do not read any further.

So this "Girl" (they call her that the whole book) loses her shitty nonprofit feminist job and is having a really hard time finding any kind of employment. She's falls into this opportunity with a pretty good company. They don't tell her really what to do at all. She's supposed to be merging two products together one being highly feministic and the other not so much.

Anyway, its this big DEAL, yet they don't really tell her much about it, it turns out its for an lingerie company campaign, totally random. Then there are these weird scenes in this swingers clubs and it just seemed a bit odd. I guess not that they exist but that they were randomly placed into the plot.Of course there is a guy in the picture and when she comes home from the "club" they have a weird and bondage like sex scene. Which, although I'm not complained, seemed a bit random.

So it turns out she has to end up firing 85 % of the company when they lose the deal .Meanwhile, she gets a raise and a bonus for a job she's not even sure what it is. They are doing a "reorg"? So they have a launch party for the new company and it turns out to be a porn company. That she is all of a sudden the head of and making a six figure salary at age 24???? She turns it down for moral reasons and it ends?

Weird book huh? I enjoyed it overall though. No reason to read it though if you just read my summary:)

Another thing that pretty much sucks about BS is that his initials are BS

Also that he’s from FREAKING JERSEY, why does he always talk like he’s from a farm in the midwest, cause he’s trying to copy JCM!

(I concur, it seems that BS is just one BGA!!)

New Microwave addition....

Thank goodness! The microwave in the kitchen right by my "cube" has been broken for like three weeks now. I've had to trek all the way to opposite side to their kitchen where they have TWO microwaves to heat up my dang Lean Cuisines and then carry them all the way back to my desk because I don't want to sit with the old ladies that watch their soaps....its a pain in the ass.

Not to mention that the microwave we had before it broke was, and I kid you not, from 1967. It opened down like a conventional oven and had dials. Kinda like this one:
















We were all kinda scared to get radiation from it so no one ever went into the kitchen if someone was heating. LOL! Anyway it was a pain in the ass but at least it got my cold food hot!
So YAY! I have a new crisp clean microwave and its from this decade!

Giraffe Update!!

Well....so my roommate just informed me that it was HER that put the giraffe there! Duh, thanks for telling me. Anyways she took it from the junk pile across the street....Well don't I feel like a BGA!! Still pretty funny though!
