One of those good accidents....

So i was bored the other day and stumbled across a blog on here. You can just click on "next blog" in the right hand corner and you randomly go to another persons blog....well I was doing that, and getting a little annoyed by so many of them being in different languages. Then I was annoyed that I didn't know the languages because they looked like they could be interesting...

Farewell District....hello Long Beach!!

Well I'll be on vacation starting this afternoon, if anyone cares. Going to visit my sister until Monday so hope you don't miss me too bad...though i could post while I'm there so you better watch out.....I'm bringing my camera so yeeehaww!!


I'm also flying Jetblue which is good, because you have your own little TV all to yourself....I love TV. I also have a book on tape to listen to while I travel...Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris....so thats supposed to be good.

I've been instructed to sleep on the plane best I can to avoid jetlag, however I don't sleep on planes....or buses....or cars or any travels mediums. Doubt I'd be able to sleep on a horse or a motorcycle either, be a little to dangerous on a bike unless its one of those with the two seats and sets of petals....anyway....brought a little something to help me sleep in case I need it....

THANK GAWD.....Spears gives birth....

Its about time, and frankly I'm nearly over her. Well now I'm sure there will be many more juicy stories, so I won't hold myself to that. Anyway.....Preston Michael Spears Federline (mouthful!) was born yesterday via a C-section shortly after 1pm. Leave it to Brit to take the easy way out of everything....shame shame shame...

Supernatural

So I watched this new show Supernatural becuse it came on after the Gilmore Girls and of course I had to watch that show. Anyway, it scared me pretty bad. i didn't realize how bad, until I couldn't fall asleep last night and then woke up sweating really bad, but couldn't move!!
The opening scene is this family. Husband, wife, and 2 sons (1 infant). They just put the kids to bed. The mother is woken up by the baby moniter and the baby making some noise. She rolls over to wake up her husband but he's not there. She gets up and walks to the baby's room and her husband standing over the crib, "Is he hungry?" She asks and the he just says "shhhhhhhh!" she says "Fine!" back to him and then notices noise from downstairs so she goes down to look.
The TV is left on and she sees a man snoozing on the sofa......she quickly realizes that it her husband asleep on the sofa, and that there is a strange man in her baby's room. She runs upstairs screams "NOOOOO!" This wakes up the husband and he runs upstairs the baby's door is shut and he quickly goes in and the baby is fine, a little fussy but just laying there. Then a few drops of blood drop down and hit the baby and the husbands hand. He looks up and his wife is on the ceiling with a horrified look on her face and her stomach is just red. Then she is engulfed with flames.....of course this scares the crap out of the husband but he gets his sons out and they survive the blaze.
Sorry but that scared the crap out of me and i made my roommate go into the basement with me to switch my laundry. mostly it scared me because one time when I was younger, probably about 5 years ago my nephew who was 4 or 5 at the time told me how sometimes this man in black would be in his room at night. Whoa!! Thats some freaky stuff......anyway the show turned out to be pretty good!

Books....I think I'm addicted...

So I think I'm addicted to reading now....which sounds silly but in reality its kinda depressing.
So I finished Eleven On Top by Janet Evanovich and it was great as always. A little unfulfilled as always too as it leaves you not knowing what really happens between Stephanie Plum, Morelli and Ranger.

Anyway the next book I read is called Shopgirl by Steve Martin. It was a quick read as promised and made me feel a little depressed sa promised.....they are making a movie about it. Gues who's in it?? Go here to see...

And today just now....I finished another good book....Its called Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie. Its a good one to read when you need to see how perfect relationships are formed and the perfect guys walks into your life. I mean basically its depressing too, because you want it to be your life so badly and yet you are so far from that life. So I get sucked into them because as long as I reading one like that I feel like there is still hope. There are still decent guys out there. And there is True Love.

Then I read the last paragraph of the book and feel like crap til I start another....wonder if this mini-depression will subside by my vacation to LA??
